SBISD students got the chance to participate in this great Post Secondary Readiness Opportunity in support of the T-2-4 and Advanced Movers Initiative. Over 250 students were in attendance at this event, and they consisted of 2 elementary and 4 middle school campuses. Those campuses were Ridgecrest, Shadow Oaks, Spring Woods Middle, Spring Oaks Middle, Memorial Middle, and Spring Branch Middle school.

The students enjoyed getting a chance to visit the the Athletic Alumni Center, and were able to support the lady cougars as they battled against LSU in a best of 5 games match. SBISD was recognized at this event after the 2nd game during the announcements.

After the scrimmage students were able to get autographs from the entire Volleyball team before the Flo Hyman Clinic began. Students were then divided up by their campus, and rotated through 8 stations to work on a variety of volleyball skills such as bumping, setting, teamwork, footwork and serving, which was led by the UH Volleyball Athletes.

As students moved through these stations they got a chance to work side by side with these student athletes, and were able to interact with them through each drill. The students had an amazing time, and in talking with just a few of the Middle Schools as they were exiting, the question was "Did you all have fun?" There reply was Yeahhhhh! this was so cool getting to work with the UH players.
